third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM.

 

JEFF FIX:   Council President

Jeff Fix was elected to City Council in November 2005 and re-elected in 2009, 2013, and 2017.  He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Finance Committee.  Jeff has been an area resident for over 18 years.  He and his wife, Laurin, daughter Jessica, and son Tanner, currently live in the Melrose subdivision.  Jeff is the Vice President of Business Development at Avalon Foodservice, which is a regional distributor.  Jeff served two years as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission and has been the Chairman of the Fairfield County Republican Party Central Committee.  Jeff has also been active coaching baseball, softball, football and basketball in the Pickerington Area Athletic Association.  jfix@pickerington.net

MIKE SABATINO:  Council Vice President

Mike Sabatino began his fifth term on Council on January 1, 2016.  He was elected in November 2003, November 2011 and re-elected in 2015, and appointed by Mayor Burkhart and Mayor Postage.  He currently serves as Vice President of Council, the Chairperson of the Service Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Rules Committee, Secretary of the Finance Committee, and the Nuisance Abatement Board Member.  Mike and his wife, Alice, have lived in Pickerington for over 20 years.  Mike has three daughters:  Lori, Teresa, and Tammy; and Anna, a Schnauzer.  Mike owned Coffeeman Beverages, Inc., from 1987 until selling it in May 2015.  In retirement Mike is working on a website called internetjoe.com.  msabatino@pickerington.net

 

TONY BARLETTA:  Councilperson

Tony Barletta was elected to Council in November 2009 and re-elected in 2013 and 2017.  He currently serves as Chairperson of the Safety Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Finance Committee, Secretary of the Rules Committee, and the Planning and Zoning Commission Representative.  Tony, his wife Tammy, and family have lived in Pickerington since 1996.  Tony is employed by Nokia, and is privileged to serve as the City’s representative on the PCMA Food Pantry Board.  tbarletta@pickerington.net

 

JERRY DAILEY:  Councilperson

Jerry Dailey was appointed to Council in 2014 and retained in 2016.  He currently serves as Secretary of the Safety Committee and Secretary of the Service Committee.  He is a long time Pickerington resident and has lived in the city for 38 years.  Jerry is a Vietnam veteran and a past president of the Ohio Association of Consulting Engineers.  Jerry and his wife, Wanda, have been married 48 years and have two daughters who graduated from Pickerington High School.  His participation in the community has included:  president of the Optimist Club, little league coach, football official, Board of Zoning Appeals, member of adjunct faculty at Columbus State, and president of the Parks Board where he initiated the “Music in the Air” program with no budget. 

Jerry has 40 years of experience in the private sector as a civil engineer which involved managing staff and making financial decisions regarding millions of dollars for all types of public works projects.  He brings a wealth of experience that has served him well as a current member of Pickerington City Council.

TRICIA SANDERS: Councilperson

Tricia Sanders was appointed to City Council in August 2017 and elected in November 2017.  She currently serves as Vice Chairperson of the Safety Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Service Committee, and the Parks and Recreation Board Representative.  She currently teaches English at Pickerington High School Central but has been a teacher in the school district for the last 23 years.  She and her husband, Chad, have raised their two sons, Chase (18) and AJ (15), here in Pickerington; they are all very proud to call Pickerington home.  Tricia served as a Pickerington City Council Representative from 2008-2011.  She is very excited to be working for the city and representing its citizens once again.  Please feel free to contact her at (614) 378-7385 or email tsanders@pickerington.net

TOM ROMINE:  Councilperson

Tom Romine was elected to City Council in November 2017 and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Rules Committee. Tom Romine graduated from Pickerington high School in 1987. Served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and is a Persian Gulf Veteran. Husband to Dawn and father of 4 daughters with two that have special needs. Tom works for The Ohio Department of Transportation as a EEO/PW Contract Compliance Officer full time and is also a Part time Police Officer for the Village of Carroll, Ohio. Tom is a member of Reynoldsburg Masonic Lodge 240 and Pickerington’s Moose Lodge.  tromine@pickerington.net
