Mayor O'Brien is happy to announce that Robert Pullins has volunteered to lead the City's revitalized VIP program.

We are currently focusing efforts on the old downtown area and Victory and Sycamore Parks.  We are looking for groups and families to adopt flowerbeds, paint fences, restore benches, weed, mulch, transplant perennials, clean up the creek, and generally spruce all public areas.

Grace Fellowship Work Day, May 2010

A group of about 50 members of Grace Fellowship generously donated three hours of their morning on Sunday, May 23rd to work in the downtown old village area.  They cleaned windows, weeded, transplanted and mulched.

"Volunteering for something is the ultimate experience
in democracy.  You vote in an election once a year, but
when you volunteer, you're voting every day about the
community you want to live in."
