The City of Pickerington, Ohio seeks a certified Chief Building Official to fill immediate full-time vacancy.  This position works at the direction of the City Manager to perform technical inspection work under guidance of the City of Pickerington Codified Ordinances, Ohio Building Officials Association, National Electric Code, Ohio Plumbing Code, National Fire Code and other applicable state regulations. Duties include field inspections, plans examination, team concept code enforcement administration, and building department records management.  Requires a Class I Building Official Certification and extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of the building construction industry including methods, materials and techniques plus electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.  For complete job description and application, click here.  This position will be open until filled.
